AGM of 3 listed companies today

Today three listed companies including Agriculture Development Bank, Sparsha Laghubitta and Sanima Mai Hydropower are conducting their AGM today.

Agriculture Development Bank (ADBL) is conducting its AGM on January 12 in Central Training Institute, Bode, Bhaktapur at 11:00 AM.

The meeting will approve a proposal of distributing 30 percent dividend including 6 percent stock and 24 percent cash dividend.

In this regard, the bank closed its book on December 29, thus, the shareholders registered in its book till December 28 are eligible to attend the AGM and obtain the announced dividend.

Sparsha Laghubitta (SPARS) is conducting its 3rd AGM on January 12 in Hotel Barahi, Lakeside, Pokhara at 11:00 AM.

The meeting is supposed to endorse a proposal of distributing 13 percent bonus and 0.68 percent cash dividend for tax purpose to its shareholders.

Moreover, the meeting will delegate authority to BOD to forward merger/acquisition, issue 100 percent right shares of the paid-up capital maintained after merger/acquisition, expand functional area after maintaining minimum required paid-up capital and elect board of directors.

For the AGM, the company closed its book on December 26, thus, the shareholders registered in its book till December 25 are eligible to attend the AGM and obtain the announced dividend.

Presently, the company has a paid-up capital of Rs 82.9 million that will reach Rs 93.7 million after the bonus share distribution.

Sanima Mai Hydropower (SHPC) is conducting its 8th AGM on January 12 in Celebration Height, Sukedhara at 11:00 AM.

The meeting is supposed to endorse a proposal of distribution 10 percent stock and 0.5263 percent cash dividend to the shareholders.

Similarly, the meeting will amend issued and paid-up capital in its article of association and policies and delegate authority to BOD to make necessary changes as per directions of regulatory bodies.

In this regard, the company closed its book from December 23, thus, the shareholders registered in its book till December 22 are eligible to attend the AGM and obtain the announced dividend.
