Net Loss of Sanjen Hydropower Increases

The net loss of Sanjen Hydropower Company (SJCL) has increased by 54.42 percent to Rs 10.5 million in the third quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 6.8 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

The company that increased its paid-up capital by 20 percent to Rs 3.28 billion has reserve loss of Rs 95.4 million.

During the period, the company earned Rs 5.4 million in income. The income decreased by 61.13 percent from Rs 14 million of the last FY.

The company has annual loss per share of Rs 0.058, net worth per share of Rs 97.13. the company is developing 14.8 MW Upper Sanjen and 42.5 MW Sanjen Hydropower Project. Both projects are in final state, as per the company .
