Social Security Budget Increased by Rs 3 Billion

The government has allocated Rs 67.50 billion for social security and citizen protection. The government increased the budget by Rs 3 billion compared to the current FY.

For the current FY, the government had allocated Rs 64.50 billion on social security.

The government has kept the provision on social security intact. Finance Minister Khatiwada said that the current provision of social security allowance has been continued for the upcoming FY.
