The date was announced by Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota at the HoR meeting today. Earlier, Finance Minister Dr Yubraj Khatiwada had tabled a copy of the budget estimates for F/Y 2020/21 at the meeting. He also presented the 'Finance Bill, 2077.
The HoR will meet next at 11:00 am on May 31.
Likewise, Finance Minister Khatiwada also presented a copy of the budget at the meeting of the National Assembly. NA Chair Ganesh Prasad Timalsena has assigned May 31 and June 1 for discussion on the budget estimates for F/Y 2020/21.
The National Assembly will meet again at 11:30 on May 31.
