Insurance Board directed companies to submit task plan on Data Centre and Cyber Security

Insurance Board (IB) has directed insurance companies to prepare IT related task plan and submit it by the end of the current FY.

The IB, under IT Act 2076, has directed to file three task plans regarding establishing data center, real-time software installation and cybersecurity. The insurance companies are required to prepare the task plans and submit them by the end of the last FY.

The regulatory body of the insurance sector believes that the step will make the IT system more convenient.
