Kumari Bank (KBL) and Deva Bikas Bank are set to start the joint transaction from July 12 after the acquisition of Deva Bikas Bank by Kumari Bank.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and Company Registrar Office gave final approval to the banks on June 24 and June 28 respectively.
Kumari Bank and Deva Bikas Bank endorsed the acquisition proposal through their respective SGM and AGM on June 1.
The net profit of development banks has declined less compared to commercial banks and finance companies in the third quarter.
