Finance Committee passes report submitted by sub-committee on broker license to bank

The report prepared by the finance sub-committee under the coordination of Ram Kumari Jhankri has been passed by the Finance Committee after amending some of the points in the report.

Following the endorsement of the report, the regulatory body itself can issue broker license to the bank.

Similarly, the finance committee decided that the companies working in the field of natural resources can be listed by issuing shares to the public irrespective of the capital they have and not on the basis of turnover, while other companies doing business up to Rs 1 billion must go to public.

Nepal records 484 new cases of COVID-19 including 138 in valley; Death tolls 91

Nepal has recorded 484 new cases of COVID-19 on August 12.  With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has totaled 24,432 in the country, of which, 7,613 are active cases.
