The banks which made the inter-bank transaction free during the lockdown period are set to charge fee for the same. However, the banks can decide whether they want to charge fee or not for the same.
As the economy is gradually moving towards normalcy with loosened lockdown and opening of all branches of BFIs, the banks can decide if they want to charge fees for the electronic transactions and interbank ATM transactions.
The net profit of development banks has declined less compared to commercial banks and finance companies in the third quarter.
