Sparsh Laghubitta Increases Profit Despite Lockdown

Sparsh Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SPARS) has been able to increase its net profit despite lockdown.

In the fourth quarter of the last FY, the company earned a net profit of Rs 28.8 million. The net profit increased by Rs 13 million compared to the corresponding period of the previous FY. In the previous FY, the company earned net profit of Rs 15.6 million.

Increase in net interest income and operating profit pulled out the net profit. In the review period, the company increased its net interest income by Rs 31 million to Rs 75.2 million and its operating profit by Rs 16 million to Rs 38.9 million.

The company logged EPS of Rs 30.74 and P/E ratio of 29.77 times.
