Green Development Bank Raises Net Profit Significantly

Green Development Bank (GRDBL) has earned a net profit of Rs 21.3 million in the fourth quarter of the last FY. The net profit increased by 81.99 percent compared to Rs 11.7 million of the corresponding period of the previous FY.

The bank managed to increase the net profit significantly due to an increase in net interest income and a decrease in non-performing loans.

During the period, the company raises its net interest income by Rs 7.3 million to Rs 81.6 million. Similarly, its operating profit increased by Rs 13.7 million to Rs 30.4 million.

The company with Rs 500 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 27.6 million, shareholders fund of Rs 5 million and shareholder fund of Rs 9.6 million.

The bank has EPS of Rs 4.
