Nepal records 484 new cases of COVID-19 including 138 in valley; Death tolls 91

Nepal has recorded 484 new cases of COVID-19 on August 12.  With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has totaled 24,432 in the country, of which, 7,613 are active cases.

Out of the total number detected today, 109 cases are from Kathmandu, 8 from Bhaktapur and 21 from Lalitpur.

Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 64 patients were discharged from hospital after recovery from the deadly disease. The number of recovered cases has totaled 16,728 in the country.

As per the ministry of health and population, Nepal witnessed 8 additional deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of death has reached 91 in the country.
