Acharya is currently working to eliminate desktop system upgrade to a web-based system for the convenience of investors. He has targeted to complete the capacity building process of meroshare and developing a mobile app by mid-October. “I have forwarded the processes of all three projects to complete them within mid-October,” he said.
According to him, CDSC will go into web base system by mid-October. Right now, 57 depository members have been transferred to the web-based system while the work of remaining depository members is going on. Once, their work is completed, CDSC will upgrade the capacity of its own system which might take a week, he informed.
Similarly, CDSC is also working to increase the capacity of meroshare which will eliminate the problems faced by investors while applying IPOs.
Regarding this, new gateways are being set up. Moreover, server capacity is also being increased.
Likewise, a mobile app is also being launched by the CDSC. The app will have all features of meroshare website that will decrease the load on the website.
