Nepal Logs 2,440 COVID-19 Cases; 19 Succumbs To Disease

On Monday, Nepal has confirmed 2,440 new COVID-19 cases.  With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has reached 89,263 in the country. Out of them, 23,507 are active cases.

Out of the total detected cases today, 1,531 are from Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu reported 1,178, Lalitpur 250 and Bhaktapur reported 103 infections.

Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 1,133 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery. The number of total recovered cases has reached 65,202 in the country.

Meanwhile, 19 individuals lost their life due to COVID-19 in Nepal in the last 24 hours. The number of death due to the deadly disease has reached 554 in the country.
