As per the new arrangements, Prime Minister Oli ousts Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel from the post of Defense Minister and transfers him to the office of Prime Minister and Council of Minister. Oli keeps the Defense Ministry to himself.
Moreover, Oli has appointed Bishnu Paudel as Minister for Finance for second time and Lila Nath Shrestha as Women, Children and Senior Citizens Minister.
The former Women, Children and Senior Citizens Minister Parbat Gurung has been appointed as Minister for Communications and Information Technology.
