Sanima General Insurance allot IPO; 600,000 applicants left empty handed

Sanima General Insurance has allotted allot the recently issued IPO on Friday, October 16 in the premises of issue manager, NIC Asia Capital.

In the allotment, the hands of 590,585 applicants were left empty while 273,000 applicants were provided 10 units of shares as per the IPO issuance and allotment guidelines.

In the issue, a total of 866,905 applicants applied for 18,591,520 units of shares out of which applications of 3,360 applicants seeking 62,280 units of shares were cancelled.

The company issued 3 million units of primary shares to the general public. Out of the total offered shares, the company allocated 120,000 to employees and 150,000 to mutual funds. The general public was issued the remaining 2,730,000 units of shares.

Currently, the company has a paid-up capital of Rs 700 million that will reach Rs 1 billion after the IPO.
