Dividend Announcement Of 2 Dozen Listed Companies Is Pending

Although the fiscal year has ended six months ago, more than two dozen companies have not declared their dividend.

Till date, 26 microfinance companies, 9 development banks, 9 hydropower companies, 26 commercial banks, 2 non-life insurance companies, 8 finance companies, 1 each from hotel and others, 5 manufacturing companies have announced the dividend of the last FY.

Still more than 3 dozen companies havenot announced dividend of the last FY.

Out of 40 microfinance companies, 26 have announced the dividend while dividend announcement of 14 companies are pending. Similarly, trading of 10 microfinance companies has been suspended due to ongoing merger procedure.

the microfinance companies that have not announced the dividend are Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta, Diprosc Laghubitta, Gurans Laghubitta, Janautthan Samudayik Laghubitta, Kalika Laghubitta, Kisan Laghubitta, Mahila Sahayatra Laghubitta, Mahuli Samudayik Laghubitta, Mithila Laghubitta, Nadep Laghubitta, Nagbeli Laghubitta, Nepal Sewa Laghubitta, Sabaiko Laghubitta, Samudayik Laghubitta, Summit Laghubitta, Support Laghubitta, Suryodaya Laghubitta, Swadeshi Laghubitta and Unnati laghubitta.

Similarly, out of three hotels, Taragaun Regency Hotel has announced the dividend while Soaltee Hotel and Oriental Hotel havenot announced the dividend. Likewise, out of 37 listed hydropower companies, only 9 have announced the dividend.

Moreover, out of 16 development banks, 9 have announced the dividend. Saptakoshi Bikas Bank, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, Sindhu Bikas Bank, Excel Development Bank, Sangrila Development Bank has not announced the dividend.

In finance group, Reliance Finance, United Finance and Janaki Finance have not announced the dividend.

One of the reasons of the delay is the pandemic caused by COVID-19. However, the listed 27 commercial banks have already distributed the dividend.

 




Stock Market to Open on Wednesday
