Last day to secure dividend of 2 listed companies

Today is the last day to secure dividend of 2 listed companies including Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and Sarathi Nepal Laghubitta.

The companies are closing their books on April 1 for their upcoming AGM, thus, the shareholders registered in its book till March 31 will be eligible to attend the AGM and obtain the announced dividend.

Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (SLBS) is conducting its 8th AGM on April 13 in Putalibazar Municipality ward no 3, Syangja (Sahayatri Party Palace, Gudikhola) in 8 AM.

The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing 15.34 percent stock and 0.80 percent stock dividend to its shareholders. Moreover, the meeting will approve proposal of issuing further public offering (FPO) to proportionate ordinary and promoter shareholders ratio to 70:30 and delegate authority to BOD to forward merger/acquisition.

Similarly, Sarathi Nepal (SNLB)is conducting its 12th AGM on April 16 in Hotel Araniko Dhulikhel, Kavre at 11:00 AM.

The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing 8.13 percent stock and 0.428233 percent cash dividend. Similarly, it will approve a proposal of issuing further public offering (FPO) to the general public and rename the company as per NRB directive.

Moreover, the meeting will delegate authority to BOD to amend its article and memorandum of association as per the changes taken place after dividend distribution and FPO issue, to forward merger/acquisition process with suitable partners and to carry out necessary procedure as per the direction of authorities.
