Net Profit of Chilime Hydropower Decreases

The net profit of Chilime Hydropower  (CHCL) has decreased by 2 percent to Rs 510.2 million in the third quarter of the current FY compared to Rs 525.6 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

During the period, the company earned Rs 809.2 million from sales which was Rs 803.7 million in the last FY. The sales increased by merely 0.69 percent during the period.

During the period, its financial income decreased to 6 percent while administrative expenses increased by 51 percent to Rs 62.8 million.

Currently, the company has a paid-up capital of Rs 6.28 billion.

The company logged EPS of Rs 10.83, P/E ratio of 60.47 times and net worth per share of Rs 156.47.
