Nabil Bank Starts Issuing Debenture from Today

Nabil Bank (NABIL) has started issuing 8 percent debenture from today,  July 25. The bank is issuing ‘8% Nabil Debenture 2085’ having a maturity period of 7 years.

The bank is issuing 3 million units of debenture worth Rs 3 billion with a face value of Rs 1,000.

Out of the total offered units, the bank is publicly issuing 1.2 million units worth Rs 1.2 billion to the general public and privately finance 1.8 million units worth Rs 1.8 billion. Out of the general public quota, the bank has allotted 5 percent i.e. 60,000 units to the mutual funds.

The issue will close early on July 28 and lately on August 8. The interested investors can apply for a minimum of 25 and maximum of all debentures.

The bank has appointed Himalayan Capital as its issue manager. The investors can apply for the debenture from all C-ASBA approved BFIs.

ICRA Nepal has assigned AA- rating to the issue indicating high degree of safety.
