Panchthar Power’s Profit Declines along with Income

Panchthar Power (PPCL) has published a fourth-quarter report of the last FY. As per the report, its net profit along with net income has decreased during the period.

In the review period, the company earned a net profit of Rs 15.5 million. The net profit decreased by 60.71 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous FY.

A decrease in income from sales and other income can be attributed to the decrease in net profit.

In the review period, its income from sales decreased by 20.19 percent. Similarly, its total profit decreased by 28.35 percent, other income by 62.28 percent and reserve fund by 45.07 percent.

Along with its net profit, its EPS decreased from Rs 6.03 to Rs 3.90. The company logged net worth per share of Rs 95.25 and P/E ratio of 94.87 times.
