Nepal SBI Bank Increases Net Profit by 52%

Nepal SBI Bank (SBI) has published its second quarter report of the current FY. As per the report the bank earned a net profit of Rs 782.7 million in the review period compared to Rs 514.8 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

The net profit increased by 52.04 percent during the period. huge increase in net interest income and operating profit can be attributed to the huge growth in the net profit.

During the period, the net interest income increased by 45.31 percent, net fee and commission income increased by 55.41 percent and operating profit by 51.55 percent. The bank has distributable profit of Rs 986.7 million.

The bank with Rs 9.49 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 6.55  billion. The bank logged EPS of Rs 16.49, net worth per share of Rs 169.08 and P/E ratio of 23.28 times.
