According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,602 cases were identified while conducting PCR tests on 6,655 individuals and 924 cases after antigen tests on 4,418 individuals.
Out of the total detected cases, 570 cases are from Kathmandu, 120 from Lalitpur and 55 from Bhaktapur.
The Ministry informed 8,425 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours. Similarly, 16 infected patients died of the virus infection today.
Currently, the country has 56,457 active cases of COVID-19.
