Governor Adhikari filed a petition in the Supreme Court on April 17 against the government's decision to suspend him.
The government has suspended Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari on April 8 accusing him of leaking confidential information by forming a investigation committee under the conveyorship of former Justice Purushowttam Bhandari along with member Surya Thapa and Chandra Kanta Poudel.
Adhikari has demanded to reinstate him to his position.
