The NOC reduced the prices of petrol, diesel kerosene by Rs 10 per litre. The board of directors meeting of the corporation held on June 02.
After the deduction, the price of petrol has reduced to Rs 170 and of diesel and kerosene to Rs 153.
The NOC said prices of cooking gas and aviation fuel will remain unchanged. Currently, price of LP gas per cylinder is Rs 1,800 while price of aviation fuel (for domestic flights) is Rs 166 per litre.
Previously, the government had decided to reduce tax on petroleum products. A cabinet meeting held on May 27 decided to reduce the tax levied on petroleum products in order to provide relief to the consumers.
