The companies earned Rs 7.87 billion in total insurance premium during the period.
Out of the total premium earned by 20 non-life insurance companies, nearly 25.84 percent i.e. Rs 1.76 billion is earned by vehicle insurance.
After vehicle insurance, property insurance contributed 22.39 percent i.e. Rs 1.76 billion followed by engineering insurance, Miscellaneous insurance and marine insurance.
The data shows that the business of non-life insurance is centered in Bagmati Province. The companies earned 69.78 percent of total insurance premium from Bagmati Province.
