A single bench of Judge Madhav Prasad Ghimire gave the order to send Lamichhane to the Central Jail, Sundhara, District Police Complex, Kathmandu.
A 17-year-old minor girl lodged a complaint at the Gaushala Police Station, accusing Lamichhane of raping her in a hotel room on September 6. The prosecution has demanded a 10-12 year jail term for Lamichhane.
