Bank of Kathmandu and Global IME Bank Call Out AGM to Approve Merger

Bank of Kathmandu and Global IME Bank have called out annual general meeting (AGM) on December 9.

Bank of Kathmandu (BOKL) has called out its 28th AGM in Tribhuwan Army Officers Club, Tundikhel, Kathmandu at 10:00 AM. The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing 6 percent stock and 14.95 percent cash dividend including tax to its shareholders.

Similarly, Global IME Bank (GBIME) has called out its 16th AGM in Silver OK Banquet and Investment Centre, Gairidhara, Kathmandu at 10:00 AM. The meeting will endorse s proposal of distributing 3 percent stock and 10.6 percent cash dividend including tax to its shareholders.

Moreover, both banks will approve final agreement on merger/acquisition of Global IME and Bank of Kathmandu, assign final approval to complete the merger and approve 1:1 swap ratio.

Trading of both banks is suspended from June 16 with regard the merger.
