Mega Bank will conduct its AGM in Rastriya Sabha Griha, Pradarsani Marga while Nepal Investment Bank will conduct its AGM in Nepal Pragya Pratisthan, Kamaladi at 10:00 AM.
The meeting of both banks will approve the merger proposal with a swap ratio of 100:90 of Mega and Nepal Investment Bank.
Moreover, the AGM on Nepal Investment will approve a proposal of distributing 7 percent cash (including tax) and 4 percent bonus share to its shareholders. While the AGM of Mega Bank will approve a proposal of distributing 4 percent stock and 3.79 percent cash dividend to its shareholders.
In this regard, Mega Bank will close its book on December 9, thus, the shareholders registered in its book till December 8 will be eligible to attend the AGM and obtain the announced dividend.
Similarly, Nepal Investment Bank is closing its book on December 7, thus, the shareholders registered in its book till December 6 will be eligible to attend the AGM and obtain the announced dividend.
