The girl, named Chetana Saud, an eighth-grade student of Hasanpur-based Panchodaya Secondary School, died on the spot.
According to Deputy Superintendent Bed Prakash Joshi of the District Police Office, the NA 1 ka 975 grader owned by Kalika Construction ran over the fourteen-year-old while backing up.
The police have arrested Grader driver 27-year-old Bimal Kumar.
