NEPSE Adjusts Stock Price of two companies

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has adjusted the stock price of two listed companies including Premier Insurance and Mero Microfinance Laghubitta on January 6 following their books for their upcoming AGM.

NEPSE adjusted the stock price of Premier Insurance at Rs 689.72 after adjusting 14.25 percent stock dividend. The last trading price of the stock was Rs 788 on January 5.

Similarly, NEPSE adjusted the stock price of Mero Microfinance at Rs 858.09 after adjusting 10 percent stock dividend. The last trading price of the stock was Rs 943.90 on January 5.

Premier Insurance (PIC) is conducting its 11st AGM in the Sisara Reception, Bhagwati Bahal, Naxal, Kathmandu on January 13.

The meeting will approve a merger proposal with Siddhartha Insurance with a swap ratio of 1:1 and start joint transaction in the name of Siddhartha Premier Insurance.

Moreover, the meeting will also approve a proposal of distributing 14.25 percent stock dividend and 0.75 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.

Similarly, Mero Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (MERO) is conducting its 10th AGM on January 20 in Crown Hotel Harati, Bidur Nuwakot at 11.30 AM.

The meeting will endorse a proposal of distributing 10 percent stock and 10 percent cash dividend to its shareholders.

Moreover, the meeting will delegate authority to BOD to amend its article and memorandum of association and forward merger/acquisition with suitable partners and appoint an auditor.
