Net Profit of Nepal Investment Mega Bank Exceeds Rs 2Bn

Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIMB) has published its second quarter report of the current FY.

As per the report, the bank earned a net profit of Rs 2.08 billion in the review period compared to Rs  1.62 billion of the corresponding period of the last FY.

The net profit increased by 28.44 percent during the period.

During the period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 355.22 billion and extended loan of Rs 317.89 billion. In the review period, the company earned net interest income of Rs 4.18 billion.

Similarly, its operating profit also increased by 23.89 percent to Rs 2.98 billion. The bank logged a negative distributable profit of Rs 1.60 billion.

The bank with Rs 34.12 billion in paid-up capital has reserve of Rs 23.55 billion. It maintained EPS of Rs 15.61, net worth per share of Rs 164.91 and P/E ratio of 16.08 times.
