Similarly, the price of kerosene has been raised by Rs 4.60 and aviation fuel by Rs 7.80. IOC sends a new price list of petroleum products every 15 days and of LPG every month.
In its price list, IOC has slashed the price of LPG by Rs 75 per cylinder. In the present context, NOC has loss of Rs 280 per cylinder. The domestic oil corporation has loss of Rs 550 million in LPG.
Although NOC is in profit for the last three months, it will register loss of Rs 80 million in the next 15 days if it sells petroleum products at the existing price as per the corporation.
