IOC Raises Petrol and Diesel Price by Rs 8 in New Price List; LPG Price Cut by Rs 75

 The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has raised petrol and diesel price in a new fuel price list to Nepal Oil Corporation. In the new price list, the price of petrol increased by Rs 8.01 and diesel by Rs 7.98.

Similarly, the price of kerosene has been raised by Rs 4.60 and aviation fuel by Rs 7.80. IOC sends a new price list of petroleum products every 15 days and of LPG every month.

In its price list, IOC has slashed the price of LPG by Rs 75 per cylinder. In the present context, NOC has loss of Rs 280 per cylinder. The domestic oil corporation has loss of Rs 550 million in LPG.

Although NOC is in profit for the last three months, it will register loss of Rs 80 million in the next 15 days if it sells petroleum products at the existing price as per the corporation.

The export of cement to India has gradually increased after the government started giving subsidies to exports. Nepal has exported cement and clinkers worth Rs 2.06 billion by the month of Magh of the current FY. the country exported 2,147,000 tons cement and clinkers including 1,788,000 tons of portland cement and 359,000 tons of clinkers to India during the period.
