IME General Insurance (IGI) and Prudential Insurance are set to start joint transactions from May 10 following their merger.
The joint entity will be rebranded as IGI Prudential Insurance.
The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) approved the merger on April 25.
IME General and Prudential Insurance signed a merger agreement on February 10 with a swap ratio of 1:1.
The gold and silver price have gained for second day on April 16.
