Nepal Life with Rs 8.20 billion in paid-up capital has also maintained highest net insurance premium, life insurance fund, total insurance premium and net profit.
Meanwhile, Prabhu Life has performed comparatively low in the third quarter.
Net Insurance Premium
Currently, a total of 10 life insurance companies (former Prime, Gurans and Union) are listed in NEPSE. They have collectively earned a total insurance premium of Rs 75.92 billion by the third quarter.
Out of all, Nepal Life has contributed 35.34 percent i.e. Rs 26.83 billion followed by LIC Nepal. LIC Nepal earned Rs 12.87 billion in net insurance premium.
Net Profit
In the review period, the companies earned net profit of Rs 2.12 billion out of which Nepal Life logged the highest profit of Rs 446.5 million.
In the mean time, LIC Nepal earned the lowest net profit of Rs 83.7 million.

In terms of EPS, Gurans Life Insurance has topped the list with EPS of Rs 9.59. LIC Nepal has the lowest EPS of Rs 4.20 per share.
