On June 2, it has made new record with Rs 800 per tola growth compared to the previous day.
According to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold is Rs 113,300 per tola and tejabi gold is Rs 112,750 per tola.
On June 1, the price of fine gold was Rs 112,500 per tola and tejabi gold was Rs 111,950 per tola.
Similarly, the silver price also gains Rs 25 to Rs 1,435 per tola.
The bullion price is increasing since the government raised the custom duty of gold and silver by 15 percent on May 29, through budget. Morevoer, it also imposed 2 percent luxury tax on diamonds, pearls, gold and silver worth Rs one million.
