The ceremony was inaugurated by Raju Raman Poudel, Director of Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA).
Along with this, the number of micro insurance companies have reached four. Previously, Nepal Micro Insurance and Guardian Life have also started operation.
Till date, NIA has distributed licenses to four micro-insurance companies including Guardian Micro Life Insurance, Nepal Micro Insurance, Protective Micro Insurance and Crest Micro Life Insurance.
Moreover, Liberty Micro Life, Trust Micro Insurance and Star Micro Insurance have not been able to maintain their capital despite obtaining a letter of Intent from NIA.
