As per the published notices, few banks have raised while few have cut the interest rates while few have kept the interest rates constant.
According to the new rates, the highest interest rates offered by the banks is 10.893 percent. Banks like Kumari Bank, Global IME, Agriculture Development Bank, Nepal Bank and NIC Asia are providing the interest rates on fixed deposits. For institutional deposits, the banks are providing 8.896 percent interest rates.
Meanwhile, NMB, Prime Commercial Bank, Standard Chartered and NIC Asia have cut the interest rates compared to Shrawan.
Standard Chartered Bank is providing the lowest interest rates of 8.92 for fixed deposits and 6.92 percent for institutional deposits.
