As per NRB data till Wednesday, the interbank rate has fallen to 2.99 percent by Wednesday.
The rate was 6.5 percent last week. However, since the government allowed the calculation of the funds deposited by the local level, the interbank rate started to go down. The government announcement has added liquidity of Rs 60 billion in the banking system.
