Till date, 15 mutual funds have announced their returns. Among them, four had not distributed returns in the last FY while five have raised their returns. Meanwhile, the returns distributed by six mutual funds have declined compared to the previous FY.
When the market was in boom, the funds had distributed attractive returns. During the last boom in FY 2077/78, Sunrise First Mutual Fund had distributed 50 percent, NIBL Pragati Fund distributed 50, NIBL Sahavagita Fund 50 percent, Citizens Mutual Fund-2 40 percent, Laxmi Equity Fund 35 percent, Sanima Equity Fund 33 percent, NMB Equity had distributed 30 percent returns. In the last FY, NMB Capital distributed 21.053 percent returns for both its mutual funds.
Currently, a total of 45 mutual funds are operating in the market, out of which 36 are listed in NEPSE. Out of those 36 mutual funds, only 15 have announced returns of the last FY.

Among the mutual funds which have announced returns of the last FY, Sanima Equity Fund has distributed 18 percent returns. In compare to the previous FY, the rate of return declined. In the previous FY,s the fund distributed 22 percent and 33 percent return respectively.
