Commercial Banks Earns Rs 16.5 Bn Profit in 2 Mths

Commercial banks have earned Rs 16.5 billion in net profit in the first two months of the current FY.

As per the report published by NRB for the month of Bhadra, twenty banks earned Rs 16.64 billion in profit during the period.

The banks raised the profit by Rs 540 million compared to Rs 16.11 billion of the corresponding period of the last FY.

Among the banks, Global IME Bank earned the highest profit of Rs 1.75 billion followed by Nabil Bank with profit of Rs 1.56 billion and Nepal Investment Mega Bank with profit of Rs 1.48 billion.

Meanwhile, Nepal SBI Bank earned the lowest profit of Rs 270 million.
