Chilime Hydropower‘s Income Declines

Chilime Hydropower Company (CHCL) has published its first quarter report of the current  FY.

As per the company’s report, its sales income has decreased compared to the corresponding period of the last FY.

During the period, the company logged 3.66 percent degrowth in energy sales to Rs 342.8 million. The company earned Rs 355.8 million from sales in the corresponding period of the last FY.

Although the company’s income has declined, its net profit increased by 0.42 percent to Rs 208.7 million.

Moreover, its financial income declined by 14.82 percent.

The company with Rs 7.25 billion in paid-up capital has retained earning of Rs 3.50 billion. 

The company logged EPS of Rs 11.50, P/E ratio of 41.04 times and net worth per share of Rs 148.34.
