Sarbottam Cements Starts Issuing IPO from Today

Sarbottam Cements (@SCML@) has started issuing initial public offering (IPO) from today, February 25.

The company is issuing the IPO to the general public in the second phase after issuing IPO to the locals of affected areas and foreign migrated workers.

The company is issuing 2,776,076 units of ordinary shares including 681,530 units of unsubscribed units from the locals of affected area. 

Similarly, it is issuing 267,000 units of shares to foreign migrated workers of Nepal.

The interested investors can apply a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 10,000 units of shares at Rs 360.90. The issue will close early on February 28 and lately on March 10.

ICRA Nepal has assigned BBB rating to the issue indicating moderate risks.

The company has appointed Global IME Capital as issue manager while NIMB Ace Capital and Prabhu Capital as Co-Issue Manager.

The investors can apply from all C-ASBA approved BFIs and Meroshare.

Sarwottam Cements is located at ward no 11, Jodeni, Sunwal Municipality of Nawalparasi District. The company started its operation on February 13, 2015. The company has capacity of producing 3,000 ton clinker and 3,000 ton cements per day. The company is using VRM Technology of Denmark.

As per the auditor’s report of 2022/23, a total of Rs 12.22 billion has been invested in the company along with the interest of construction period. The payback period of the company is 3.9 years and discounted payback period is 4.7 years.
