Chilime Hydropower‘s Profit Declines with Income

Chilime Hydropower Company (CHCL) has published its third quarter report of the current  FY.

As per the company’s report, its sales income and net profit have decreased compared to the corresponding period of the last FY.

During the period, the company earned Rs 782.5 million in sales. The sales declined by 2.70 percent compared to Rs 804.2 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

In the review period, its net profit decreased by 10.97 percent to Rs 470.9  million from previous Rs 528.9 million.

Decline in sales income and financial income can be attributed to the decline in net profit. 

The company with Rs 7.98 billion in paid-up capital has retained earning of Rs 2.62 billion.

The company logged EPS of Rs 7.86, P/E ratio of 58.31 times and net worth per share of Rs 132.93.
