As per the data published by Nepal Insurance Authority, the companies issued a total of 2,713,071 units policies and earned Rs 36.56 billion in total insurance premium during the period.
Among the companies, Shikhar Insurance collected the highest premium of Rs 4.89 billion followed by Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance with Rs 4.29 billion and Siddhartha Premier Insurance with Rs 3.66 billion in premium collection.
Out of 14 non-life insurance, seven companies issued more than 200,000 policies during the period. Shikhar Insurance issued the highest number of policies during the period. It issued 287,732 units policies followed by Siddhartha Premier and Neco insurance.
