Nepal Telecom’s Profit Falls in Q2

Nepal Telecom (NTC) has published its second quarter report of the current FY. As per the company’s report, its net profit has decreased during the period.

In the review period, the company earned net profit of Rs 2.63 billion which is 32.97 percent degrowth compared to Rs 3.93 billion of the review period of the last FY.

Decline in income has pulled down profit during the period.

The company’s income decline by 1.40 percent to Rs 17.49 billion during the period. Similarly, its financial income declined by 36.30 percent, total income by 8.40 percent and financial expenses by 0.19 percent.

The company with Rs 18 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 73.14 billion.

 It logged EPS of Rs 29.28, net worth per share of Rs 506.34 and P/E ratio of 30.33 times.
