The bank started issuing ‘SBL Debenture 2091’ from July 13. The debenture has a maturity period of 10 years and yields 7.25 percent annual interest.
The bank is issuing 2.5 million units of debentures worth Rs 2.50 billion. Out of total offered units, the bank has allocated 60 percent i.e. 1.5 million units worth Rs 1.50 billion to personal financers. The remaining 40 percent i.e. 1 million units of debentures worth Rs 1 billion will be issued to the general public. Moreover, the bank has allotted 5 percent i.e. 50,000 units to mutual funds.
Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 25 and maximum of all units of debentures.
ICRA Nepal has assigned BBB+ rating to the issuer indicating moderate safety.
The bank has appointed NMB Capital as its issue manager. The investors can apply from all C-ASBA approved BFIs and Meroshare.
