Shambhu Kumar Yadav, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Siraha-3.
Yadav garnered 32,249 votes. His nearest competitor, Leela Nath Shrestha of the CPN (UML), secured 10,156 votes.
There were a total of 119,250 voters in this electoral area in which 76,430 votes were cast.
The gold and silver price have increased on March 8.
