Harka Raj Rai of Shram Sanskriti Party has won a seat in the House of Representative from Sunsari-1.
Rai secured 35,741 votes.
His close rival Goma Tamang of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) obtained 27,249 votes.
Similarly, Tika Ram Limbu of CPN-UML got 6,463 votes in the constituency.
The gold and silver price have increased on March 8.
