The Public Procurement Monitoring Office informed that it has already prepared the preliminary draft of the bill. As per Clause (6) (2) of the Legislation Act 2081, the preliminary draft of the bill should be made public for public opinion. Accordingly, the Public Procurement Monitoring Office has published the preliminary draft of the bill on April 8. Opinions and suggestions are being collected until April 14.
Changes will be made if required based on the opinions and suggestions received, then the bill will reach the cabinet through the ministry. After getting approval from the Cabinet, the Ministry will submit it to the Parliament. It will be passed by the parliament and sent to the President and after the President certifies it, it will come into effect as an Act.
