The government had decided to give a public holiday two days a week (Saturday and Sunday) and to extend the office timings from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
As per the decision of the government followed by board of directors meeting of NEPSE on April 5, the stock market will remain open from Monday to Friday.
Earlier, the trading took place from Sunday to Thursday.
